This policy explains how we treat personal data collected through the website hosted at green.orawater.in and through direct email, phone, or in person interactions with our sales and factory teams.
What Data We Collect
We only collect information you actively provide to us. The main entry point is our contact enquiry form, which asks for:
- Full name
- Organisation or brand name (optional)
- Email address
- Phone or WhatsApp number
- Enquiry type, business type, monthly volume estimate, delivery location (optional)
- Free text message describing your requirement
Alongside those fields, our servers automatically capture the standard technical context that any web request carries: IP address, user agent string, referrer URL, and coarse geolocation derived from your IP. This helps us route enquiries to the correct regional sales team and detect abuse.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or third party pixels. The site is fully static and only performs a network request when you submit the enquiry form.
Why We Collect It
Every data point above serves one purpose: to respond to your bulk order, private label, distribution, factory tour, or general enquiry. Your details flow into our internal customer relationship management system and are visible only to the sales, accounts, and dispatch teams handling your account.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party. We do not use enquiry data for marketing outreach unrelated to the topic you contacted us about.
How Long We Retain It
Enquiries that do not convert into an order are retained for up to 24 months after the last contact so we can pick up a conversation if you reach out again. Active customer records are retained for the duration of the commercial relationship plus 7 years to satisfy Indian tax and audit requirements under the Income Tax Act, GST law, and the Companies Act.

How We Protect It
Data in transit uses HTTPS with modern TLS. Data at rest lives inside our managed cloud database with encryption enabled at the storage layer. Access is restricted to authenticated staff on a need to know basis and every access is audit logged.
Passwords and other secrets used to reach our systems rotate on a fixed schedule. We run periodic reviews of who has access to what and remove permissions when a team member's role changes.
Third Party Services We Use
The website itself is hosted on Hostinger. Email delivery for our thank you acknowledgements is routed through a standard transactional email provider. WhatsApp messages sent using our click to chat link travel through Meta's WhatsApp infrastructure and are subject to their privacy terms. IP geo lookup uses the free tier of ip-api.com purely to derive city and country context for routing.
None of these vendors receive your enquiry content beyond what is strictly required to deliver the message or render the page.
Your Rights
Under Indian law and best practice regardless of jurisdiction, you can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you
- Share a copy of what we hold in a portable format
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Delete your record, subject to any statutory retention overrides
- Withdraw consent for future communication
- Object to specific uses of your data

Children
The site and its enquiry form are intended for adult business buyers, procurement teams, and consumers over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted an enquiry, contact us and we will delete the record on receipt.

green.orawater.in uses only strictly necessary cookies required to render the site correctly. We do not set marketing, analytics, or preference cookies. Your browser may store its own cache of static site assets but no personally identifying data is written to cookies by our code.
